Apartment corridor changed to a snowy forest in a walking shot.

Aisma, an AI editor for videos you’ve already shot, turned the apartment corridor in this walking shot into a snow-covered pine forest from a written request, with no photo and no green screen. The woman and the camera move came through unchanged, and the light on her turned cooler. Below is the brief we sent, word for word.

Example requestchange the background to a snowy forest

What stays

  • The woman and her sweater
  • Her stride and head-to-toe framing
  • The camera moving back as she walks

What changes

  • The corridor walls and the wood floor
  • A snowy forest road in winter daylight takes their place

What you bring

A 10-second clip + a written request (no photo)

Try this request

The example request under the player is the quick way to say it. Here is the brief we actually sent, in full.

Notice how little it says about the forest: one sentence sets the trees, the season and the light. Everything after that protects what was already in the clip, and the closing line asks for the cool daylight to reach her too. In the edit, her sweater reads lighter and cooler than it did under the corridor lights.

We sent it a single time, and the edit above is that run. The floor changed along with the walls: the wooden boards became a snowy road with tracks in it, so she walks through the new place instead of in front of a backdrop.

The brief we sent, word for word

Change the background to a snow-covered pine forest path in bright winter daylight. Keep the walking woman, her clothes and the original camera movement. Match the cool daylight on her.

Up close

Look at the floor,
then at her.

The floor

The wood floor and the doormat are gone. She walks on packed snow with tracks in it, and her steps land where they did in the original.

The light

The corridor’s warm light gave way to bright winter daylight, and her face and sweater picked up the cooler tone, as the brief asked.

The camera

In both versions the camera moves back as she walks toward it, and she stays in the frame from head to toe the whole way.

For a background change of your own, start with a clip where the person stays clear of the walls and the camera moves steadily, like this one. A finished edit can be the starting point for your next one, so a winter coat can come in a second edit.

Background requests
for the season ahead.

Starting points for clips people make this time of year. None of these are results on this page; keep the order of the brief above, the new place first and then what stays.

  • Holiday card

Change the living room behind us to a snowy cabin porch with string lights. Keep all four of us and the camera move.

  • Thanksgiving toast

Change the dining room walls to a red barn with autumn leaves outside the doors. Keep the family and the table.

  • Real estate listing

Change the gray sky over the house to a clear winter morning with snow on the lawn. Keep the house and the drone move.

  • Halloween reel

Change the backyard behind me to a foggy pumpkin patch at night. Keep me and my costume.

  • Ski trip teaser

Change the parking lot behind them to a snowy mountain slope with pine trees. Keep both of them and their skis.

  • Office update

Change the office behind me to a quiet library with tall shelves. Keep me and the light on my face.

Each of these changes one thing, the place. Ask for an outfit or a removal in a separate edit, starting from your finished video.

HOW IT WORKS

Take your own clip
somewhere new.

  1. Choose your video

MP4 or MOV, 2–60 seconds, up to 500 MB. Your original framing is kept.

  2. Describe the new place

Name the place and its light in one sentence, then say what stays put.

  3. Review credits, then generate

Pick 720p or 1080p. Aisma shows the credits first, and the finished edit arrives in your private Library.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Before you begin.

Is the forest a real Aisma result?

Yes. We asked once with the brief above, and this is what Aisma returned. Before → After lines up the original and the edit at the same moment, and Full Aisma edit plays all 10 seconds. The walker is a fictional adult, and the corridor clip was created for this demonstration.

Do I need a green screen or a photo of the place?

No. This forest came from words alone, with no green screen and no photo. Add a photo when the place has to be a specific one, like your shop or a wedding venue, and call it Photo 1 in the request.

Can I get a transparent background instead?

Aisma puts your subject in a new scene rather than cutting them out. If you planned to drop the clip onto another background later, describe that background in the request and let Aisma build it.

Will the light on the person change?

It can, and it helps to ask. This brief ends with “Match the cool daylight on her,” and in the edit her face and sweater lost the warm corridor tone. If part of your result still looks lit for the old place, redo that part with Edit a clip and a line about the light.

What does a background change like this cost?

This walk is one 10-second shot: 80 credits at 720p, 160 at 1080p. Aisma charges 8 credits per second at 720p and 16 at 1080p, counting each shot in whole seconds. The price shows before you press Generate, and any part that fails is refunded in credits. See the pricing page for packs and plans.

Can I change the background of a longer clip?

Yes, up to 60 seconds per clip, as an MP4 or MOV file of up to 500 MB. Your result keeps the clip’s length and framing. For anything longer, split the video into parts of 60 seconds or less.
