Photobomber in a red jacket removed from a wedding video.

With one written request and no photos, the AI video editor Aisma removed the stranger in a red jacket who stood behind this bride and groom, checking his phone. The couple’s walk and the camera move came through unchanged. Below are the brief we sent and a close look at what now fills his spot.

What you bring

A 10-second clip + the brief below (no photos)

The example request under the player is how most people would type this. The brief below is what we actually sent: three sentences and no photos.

Point at the person the way you’d point them out to a friend, by what they wear and where they are. “The man in the red jacket walking behind the couple” leaves one candidate, and because the couple’s walk is on the keep list, there’s no question about who stays.

We ran it once and kept what came back. The middle sentence asks Aisma to rebuild the paved passage and the garden behind him. The original never showed what was behind him, so what you see there now is generated from the scene around it.

The brief we sent, word for word

Remove the man in the red jacket walking behind the couple. Reconstruct the paved passage and garden behind him. Preserve the couple, their walk, the arch, flowers, camera movement and lighting.

Up close

Where he stood,
and what’s there now.

His spot

He stood on the stone path past the arch, looking at his phone. In the edit that part of the frame shows paving stones, a low stone wall, lavender and the cypress trees behind them.

The couple

The bride and groom walk toward the camera hand in hand. Her bouquet and his bow tie look as they did, and so does the way they move.

The camera

The original camera move carries through the edit at the same pace, with the same framing from start to finish.

Removals hold up well when the person you remove is well clear of the people you keep and stands in front of something that repeats, like paving or grass. Here he stood far behind the couple on an open path. Someone who crosses in front of a face leaves much more to rebuild.

Make it yours

Removal requests
worth borrowing.

Starting points for clips people film on weekends and at work. They aren’t results shown on this page; swap in your own person and what has to stay.

  • Wedding toast

Remove the waiter in the white shirt who walks behind the best man. Keep the best man and the guests at the table.

  • Graduation

Remove the photographer in the gray jacket who steps into the frame at 0:06. Keep the graduate and the stage.

  • High school football

Remove the man in the orange vest who crosses the sideline at the start. Keep the players and the crowd.

  • Beach day

Remove the two swimmers in the water behind her. Keep her and the waves.

  • Realtor tour

Remove the neighbor walking a dog across the front lawn. Keep the house and the camera move.

  • Street vlog

Remove all the people behind me on the sidewalk. Keep me and the storefronts.

Rather put someone new in their place? That’s a face swap, done with photos of a person who agreed to it.

HOW IT WORKS

Clear someone out
of your own clip.

  1. Choose your video

MP4 or MOV, 2–60 seconds, up to 500 MB. Your original framing is kept.

  2. Name who should go

Describe the person by clothing and position, then say who stays.

  3. Review credits, then generate

Pick 720p or 1080p. Aisma shows the credits first, and the finished edit arrives in your private Library.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Before you begin.

Is this edit real, or a mock-up?

It’s real. Aisma made it from the brief above, and we kept the first result. Full Aisma edit plays it whole. The couple and the man in the red jacket are fictional adults in a clip created for this demonstration.

What appears where the person was?

Whatever fits the scene around them. The original clip never showed what was behind him, so Aisma generates that area from its surroundings: here, a stone path and lavender. Details can vary with your clip and request, so look at that spot when you review the result.

How do I make sure the right person is removed?

Describe them by clothing and position, as this brief does, and name who stays when there’s any doubt. If they’re in only part of the clip, add a time, like “from 0:03 to 0:06.”

Can I remove several people at once?

Yes. Name each person in the same request, or ask for a group, such as “remove all the people in the background.” Keep that request to removals, since a single clear change gives the steadiest result.

What does a removal like this cost?

Removals cost what every edit costs: 8 credits per second at 720p, 16 at 1080p. We rendered this single 10-second shot at 1080p, so it would be 160 credits at today’s rate, or 80 at 720p. The editor shows the price before you press Generate. If a part fails, you get its credits back. Our pricing page lists the packs and plans.

Can I use this on any video?

Use it on footage you own or have permission to edit. Tidying up a stranger behind the couple you filmed is exactly what it’s for. Aisma doesn’t offer edits meant to fake evidence or deceive people.
