AI VIDEO EFFECTS
An AI video effect is an event that happens in the frame itself, like petals spiraling off a bouquet. With Aisma, you describe it in one sentence, it’s rendered into a clip you already shot, and your framing and original audio stay as they were.

AT A GLANCE
The bouquet clip above is 10 seconds long, vertical and one continuous shot with no cuts. Its petals came from a single request that we ran once. Here’s what any effect in Aisma takes and what it gives back:

MORE REAL EDITS
The mug is an effect: one object, one event. The dog is a restyle: the whole frame turned to wool, paper, clay or ink.

HOW WE WROTE IT
The line under the bouquet clip is the short version of our request. The one we sent had three sentences, and each had a job.
Name one thing at a time. When we made the mug example with a previous version of Aisma, our first two requests asked the mug, the notebook, the pencil and the keys to float together, and the better of the two lifted only the mug, slightly, in the second half. The third request named the mug alone and asked the rest of the desk to stay put. The mug rose within the first second and hovered, with a soft shadow under it, for the rest of the clip.
TRY IT ON YOUR CLIP
Each one names a single event and what should stay. They’re starting points written the way we write our own requests, so adjust the details to your clip.
More plain-word requests, each with the edit it made, are on the page about editing video with an AI prompt.
Real effect edits with their requests are in the examples library.
HOW IT WORKS
MP4 or MOV, 2–60 seconds, up to 500 MB. Your original framing is kept.
Say what happens, and list what must stay as filmed.
Pick 720p or 1080p. Aisma shows the credits first, and the finished edit arrives in your private Library.
WHAT IT COSTS
A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
Upload the clip to Aisma, write the effect in one sentence, then a second one naming whatever must stay as filmed. Pick 720p or 1080p, check the price in credits, then press Generate; the finished clip arrives in your private Library. Aisma is an AI video editor you can use on the web at aisma.ai or in the apps for iPhone and Android. The step-by-step guide walks through one full edit.
Events that happen to something already in your clip, such as a mug lifting off a desk and hovering or flowers letting go of their petals. A change in the air or the light of a scene counts too. Write what happens in plain words rather than the name of a filter or preset. When you want the whole frame in a new material, like wool or clay, that’s a restyle.
Aisma is paid with credits: 8 per second of video at 720p, 16 at 1080p. The bouquet clip is 10 seconds with no cuts, so it costs 80 credits at 720p or 160 at 1080p. Each shot, the stretch between two cuts, counts in whole seconds, and the Generate button shows the exact credits for your clip before anything renders. Unused credits are returned. If you’re new, the web version lets you prepare three edits before you buy credits, and the render itself always uses credits. Credit packs and weekly plans are on the pricing page.
Yes. Aisma adds AI visual effects to clips of 2–60 seconds, with no tracking or masking on your side. The result is an MP4 at 720p or 1080p and 24 fps with your original audio, ready for the timeline in the editor you already use. Our video to video AI page shows the same approach applied to outfits, places, people and products.
No. You describe the effect in your own words, and every effect on this page started from a sentence with no photo attached. Photos help when the look of a specific product, garment, person or place matters. You can attach up to 10 and point to them as Photo 1, Photo 2 and so on.
Aisma starts from a video you already shot. Turning a still photo into an effect video is on our roadmap. Write to support@aisma.ai with what you’d create from a photo; requests like yours shape what we build next. Until then, a few seconds filmed on your phone is enough to start.
Yes. Tie it to a moment in the action, like “as she tosses the bouquet,” or give a time, such as “from 0:04 to 0:07,” counted from the start of your clip.
You can, but results are most predictable with one effect per request. For a second effect, or an effect plus a new background, open the finished clip in your Library, use it as the source of your next edit and describe the next change there.
A steady clip where the thing you’re changing stays in clear view. The bouquet clip holds a still, waist-up frame for all 10 seconds, so the petals have room to spiral around her arm. If your object drifts out of frame or sits tiny in a corner, film it closer before you upload.
Open the finished video, choose Edit a clip and redo just the part that’s off, adding a clarification such as “slower, and only around her arm.” You see the price of that part first. Or recreate the task from your Library with the same clip and a reworded request; nothing is charged until you press Generate. A part that fails, or that the automatic safety check turns down, costs you nothing.
Yes. The bouquet, the floating mug and the dog are real Aisma edits of the clips shown with them, and Full Aisma edit plays each one whole. Examples marked Previous version were recorded with a previous version of Aisma. Before → After views show the original and the edit at the same moment of the clip, never cropped, sped up or retouched. Your result depends on your clip and request.
