White T-shirt changed to forest green in a tracking shot.

Aisma, an AI video editor for footage you’ve already shot, turned the white T-shirt in this 7.7-second tracking shot deep forest green from one written request. The folds, the crew collar and the man wearing it stayed as filmed, and so did the camera’s slide past a white pillar. Below is the exact brief we sent and what to check in the result.

The short request under the player says it the way most people would. The brief below is what we actually sent: one sentence for the new color and two for what had to stay.

Naming the fabric, the folds and the collar in the keep list is what makes this a color change rather than a different shirt. The last sentence protects everything around it, down to his earring and the camera.

We sent it once, rendered it at 1080p and kept the first result. Around three seconds the camera’s slide brings a white pillar across him, and by about five seconds he’s behind it, so the new color is on screen for roughly the first half of the clip.

The brief we sent, word for word

Change his white T-shirt to a deep forest-green T-shirt. Keep the same fabric, fit, folds and collar. Keep his face, hair, earring, movement, the wall, lighting and camera.

Up close

Check the collar,
then the pillar.

The collar and folds

The crew collar, the sleeve hems and the folds across his chest sit where they did in the white tee. Only the color changed.

The pillar

As the camera tracks, a blurred white pillar slides in from the right. Its soft edge passes over the green shirt just as it passed over the white one.

His face

His face, short beard and small earring look as they did, and the maroon wall behind him keeps its color and light.

A color change reads best when the garment is in clear view and evenly lit for most of the clip. Here the tee is in full view for the first three seconds against a plain wall, which gives the new color the same soft shading as the original.

  • Shop reel

Change the hoodie on the model to burgundy. Keep the folds, the hood and the studio.

  • Holiday post

Change his white shirt to deep red. Keep his face and the tree lights behind him.

  • From one moment on

From 0:03 to the end, change her white T-shirt to black. Before 0:03, keep it white.

Want to compare the ways to recolor a shirt, by hand or with Aisma? Our step-by-step guide covers both.

HOW IT WORKS

Recolor a shirt
in your own clip.

  1. Choose your video

MP4 or MOV, 2–60 seconds, up to 500 MB. Your original framing is kept.

  2. Name the new color

Say which garment changes and to what color, then list what stays.

  3. Review credits, then generate

Pick 720p or 1080p. Aisma shows the credits first, and the finished edit arrives in your private Library.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Before you begin.

Is this a real Aisma result?

Yes. Aisma made it from the brief above in one run, and we kept that first result. Before → After wipes from the original to the edit at the same moment; Full Aisma edit plays the whole take. The original is a stock clip from Pexels.

How exact can the new color be?

Name it the way you’d describe it in a shop: “deep forest green” rather than just “green.” If the shirt has to match one you sell, add a photo of it as Photo 1 and say which shirt it replaces.

What happens when something passes in front of the shirt?

The edit follows the original. In this clip a white pillar slides across him from about three seconds, and it hides the green shirt where it hid the white one. Whatever covers the shirt in your clip covers the new color too.

Can I change the color for only part of the clip?

Yes. Add the time to the request, such as “from 0:04 to the end,” and say how the shirt should look before it, as in “before 0:04, keep it white.”

What does a color change like this cost?

This take is 7.7 seconds, and Aisma counts each shot in whole seconds, so it bills as 8: 80 credits at 720p, or 160 at 1080p, the quality we used. That’s 10 credits a second at 720p and 20 at 1080p. The Generate button shows the exact number first, and our pricing page lists the packs and plans.

Will the edit change anything else in my clip?

It shouldn’t, and the brief tells Aisma what to protect: here his face, hair, earring, movement, the wall, the light and the camera. Your original framing and audio are kept too.
